Chioggia Beets are an Italian heirloom variety. Playfully nicknamed Candy Cane Beets, Chioggia Beets are deep pink on the outside with circular candy cane stripes on the inside. A flashy addition to any meal, these beets taste earthy and sweet. Beet greens are edible and have an earthy taste similar to Chard.
